Albert "AJ" Johnson is the Chapter Executive Director for PCA-Houston.  As CED, AJ is responsible for the success of the PCA-Houston Chapter. He works with the Houston board to develop, implement and evaluate a long-term strategy for the chapter. He represents PCA in the Houston community by developing relationships with business, philanthropic, academic and government leaders. In addition, AJ is responsible for raising sufficient funds annually for PCA-Houston to thrive.

AJ is a native of Missouri City, TX and graduated from Willowridge High School. His professional and athletic career has taken him throughout the country and abroad, including Canada and Germany. AJ graduated from Southern Methodist University with a business degree in Management Information Systems. He went on to play eight years of Professional Football in the NFL, NFL Europe and the CFL. He finished his rookie year as the CFL’s Rookie and Special Teams player of the year.  AJ was also a two-time CFL all-star and still holds the record for the most combined yards in a single game (474) and the most combined yards by a rookie (3,241). That total is also the fourth best in CFL history.

Albert and his wife Jenise, currently reside in Pearland, TX with their twin boys, daughter, and younger son. He owns an Insurance & Financial Services Agency that was started in 2005. He is also the secretary on the Board of Directors for Cross Roads Community Church in Pearland, TX, and President of the 288 Corridor Rotary Club. He has volunteered his time coaching little league baseball, youth football, and other sports at Houston St. Thomas High School.
