Glen Matsumoto is a Partner and the Head of Infrastructure with Actis. Actis is a leading investor in Asia, Africa and Latin America with $6.3 billion of assets under management. Glen’s Actis Long Life Infrastructure Fund seeks to invest in the electric power, toll roads, district heating/cooling, digital, and other essential infrastructure in emerging market countries. This infrastructure is driving economic growth for these countries and increased opportunity for their populations.

Previously, Glen headed the New York City Office of EQT Partners and was one of the founding partners for the firm’s infrastructure business line.

Earlier in his career, Glen was an infrastructure investor for Mission Energy, Company (a global independent power company), the Export-Import Bank of the United States, and ABB.

Glen has an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rice University. Glen swam competitively throughout high school and for the Rice University men’s swim team, serving as team captain in his senior year.
